I live nearly 3 hours away from Cleveland, which is the nearest city with an NBA team. My oldest son is an NBA fan and has converted me as well. Earlier this year we went to a Golden State Warriors game in Cleveland, and the Cavaliers ticket sales team convinced me to buy a 10 game package. I reasoned that there were a lot of NBA teams we would like to see in person and we were able to get most of them in our package. There were a few games we didn’t care much to see the other team.
For the most part I enjoyed the games, but there were a few we couldn’t make due to scheduling and there were a few we almost reluctantly attended.
Going forward I’d never buy a plan again. I’d pay the premium to go to fewer games that I truly want to attend, and I’d wait longer (and risk paying a higher premiums) to make sure the times are convenient still.
